Would be a waste of time trying to modify the existing OE backbox. Blueflame have done a good job on their quad exhaust - for the time and money spent trying to modify the original - you'd be well on your way to a blueflame quad.

Waste of time miss-enzo, especially on the standard exhaust, if its chopped up, it will rust in no time. You're also messing about with the exhaust flow, you would be much better off getting a duel exit thats been designed with flow in mind.

If its not hooked up to the system it doesnt look right I dont think, especially on cold mornings when the smoke is pouring out the back of one exhaust and not out of the other. Looks better if its out of 2.

Nope - I had the blueflame with a decat and it wasn't loud - Muads and Ivans exhausts (ran the 1/4 mile with you) would be significantly louder - heres a clip of the blueflame on the 2006 run - the blueflame quad featured on my steel silver GPX (2nd FTO) and JayVR's white GPvR (3rd FTO) - not a LOT louder than Russman (4th FTO) with the standard exhaust and a lot quiter than IrishGirls custom exhaust (1st FTO GR).

The RSR exhaust on the Zed is deafening in comparison.

Can depend on the amount of baffles they have in the back box when my quad exhaust was fitted they said it was very load so the fitted a second inline back box on mine to quieten it down now when driving thru housing estates i'm not anoying anyone and when i'm cruzing on the motorway its not deffining me but when i want it to and i put the foot to the floor she howls like a banshie....
