tiptronic gearbox problem

I was cruising past an over excited mini driver last night in 2nd gear and went to tip in up to 3rd when I was meet with a small thud and a total loss of drive ,it won,t select any gears even reverse but my linkage is moving ok going to my tip gearbox ,has anyone experienced this problem before ,when put into park it goes into park ,

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, checked the diagnostics but no code is shown just a flashing N, and it is not stuck in limp mode.

If you still have the problem it might be a fuse. My car was stuck in 3rd before and turned out to be a fuse... hope you get/got it sorted!
