Bruised FTO

Postby pergau » Mon Jan 31, 2005 1:17 pm

I had a little tap on Sunday and managed to crumple the wing and crack the bumper slightly. (I only scratched the other car's bumper)

Luckily no-one was hurt and the bumper will fix and the headlight is ok. but I need a lot of panel beating or a wing. I'll take it up to the guy who just fixed the wife's car, for a quote, but does anyone have a drivers side wing for sale? As the car is silver, this would be even better!

My ego is more damaged than the car but this might be the time/excuse to get a few paint jobs done eg scratch on rear bumper and stone chips on bonnet. I hate driving around with it looking like that.

Forum members are asked to refrain from bringing down the image of steel silver ;) Pergau, if you washed it more often, it won't look so dirty!

I seen the other "cleaner" silver a few weeks ago (see spotted section) and it looked very well cant understand why its not more popular.

I thought symphonic silver was only available on face lift cars?

Thanks for the advice CJ but I bought it specifically so it would blend in with the dirt!

Actually I bought it because I knew the previous owner and how much care he took of the car. So I'm terrified of what he'll do if he hears I've damaged it.
