Whats up guys does anyone know where i could get my air con re gassed :?: cheers.

I know Coldchain in Naas do it, they're not cheap though.
Halfords also do a DIY kit.

I have heard that getting the guy to call it works better than the "kits" from halfords which are about 30euro a pop anyway and you might not get it working right... thats just what I have heard...

the kit in halford is €57 with a free aircon cleaner!

I bought the refill from Halfords but it didn't take, for the difference I reckon you're better of getting it done professionally.

The guy that did mine sucked the old stuff out first. Then put some cleaning stuff through, and sucked that out as well. Topped it up, took best part of an hour to complete. Worked better than it ever did..

did he eliminate the ''smell'' from the air con ?
no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene

Rob, it might the the re-gas but it could also be the air con unit clutch as we talked about. WOrth getting it re-gassed anyway I guess.
