Not an accident, but couldn't make it up the hill at the M50 roundabout at Tallaght... had to get a push from some bystanders!
Zero grip the whole way to work...
had a few hairy spins myself this morning. The S is VERY slippy at the back in the ice.
I got my new 17 inch wheels fitted, a new front low lip spoiler too so will post some pics soon. Got 17inch Bridgestone RE050. These are stock tyres on an Enzo, SL 55AMG, S2000 etc. very nice tyres and although not bedded in yet they seem very stable.
New tyres seem to take ages to bed in.... is this right?

Depends on how you drive
My S03's took a couple of weeks.
Viper - I would imagine the lovely thread pattern on the F1 Eagles compacted up the snow and you were left with slicks. I'd agree that the F1 Eagles would be particularly bad in snow - in general you are probably better of with a very basic tyre than a high performance tyre in snow due to the performance thread patterns. Having a wide tyre would also be a disadvantage in the snow - hence why you probably got overtaken by the granny in her 92 Fiesta on 145 width 13 inch steel wheels on the way up the hill.
