Noticed this one before - certainly not 2000 - anyone want to check the dates on the seatbelts? My guess is 95 or 96.

And 35K miles ?????? How this guy continues to get away with that defies belief.

Other than the fairly obvious (to us atleast) scam going on here it's a nice looking car..

They definately deserve a slap - who'd deal with reports of this - the ombudsman?

Same car advertised here as a 98 - this time with 50K miles  - http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cf ... rID=602804
Nice of him to take 10950 cash when the other dealers asking price for a trade in on same car is 10750. :?

No way is that an 98 in any case unless someone held onto it for a couple of years before registering. No way is it a 5 speed Tip either - all pre facelifts have 4 speed Tip boxes AFAIK. The trim level is off an 95/96 car no matter what year he says it is.

For it to be a 98 - 00 FTO he would have had to change the front bumper and lights and the seat trim and steering wheel. This guys a cowboy of the highest order. A mate of mine traded a car in with 65K miles on the clock - a week later it was up for sale with 30K miles. Clocking is rife among the vast amount of these shady dealers.

They are different pictures of the same FTO.
Theres a few dealers that seem to share cars between themselves - both these dealers also seem to share with S&B motors - who seem to be slightly more honest about their cars.

EG Month 1: Car appears in S&B motors with 75K miles
Month 2: Identical car with same mods appears in Byrnes etc with 35K miles.

This is a trend I've noticed for several years now and I've dealt with both dealers when looking for cars - wouldn't buy anything off them though!
