I think this is my favourite look for the FTO

Just needs some 18's and lowering to fill out the arches while keeping the topmix splitter off the ground - and while yer at it get some wide wheels - 225/235 would be cool on the FTO

i have to say i still prefer the facelift bozz front, (which i'm going for)

but the skirts and no spoiler do look very cute!

Aye, you're right - I was thinking of the skirts and no spoiler look really and the bozz front along with these skirts and no spoiler would be the dogs.

Still need those 18's though

18's are a little too big IMO - and its not feasible to lower the car (not in the West of Ireland anyway) as the top mix splitter regularly rubs off the ground as is.

I have 17/215's on at the moment - but the rims are 8inchs wide so I could easily fit 225's or 235's but I would expect more rubbing on the wheelarches.

I do think I will be putting on the Hiro spoiler shortly though - its waiting in the bodyshop at the mo though I do like the clean lines at the back as it is at present.

Don't think you could call my GPX "cute" when the hiro goes on

I prefer the facelift bozz front myself as well.
Could be a future mod - but its even lower than the top mix - what chance you'll get over the speed bumps on a lowered bozz speed FTO?

Not neccessarily - my FTO on 17 - 215 / 45's sits higher than 18 - 215 / 35's which is the profile you'd need on 18's.

I have a facelift bozz speed and i have 17- 215- 45's on mine and i have not got any problems with speed bumps just some multi storey car parks

Well - there are some speed bumps near where I work where I am already getting rubbing on my non lowered Top mix splitter on the same profile tyres. Adie - you'll have some amount of fun taking detours if you ever bring your FTO to this side of the pond.

I had 5 years of driving around the UK as a Rep and most speedbumps seem to conform to a particular height and slope - over here its just a matter of slapping a load of concrete on the road and hoping for the best - there are no end to the difference in types of speedbumps over here - from small metal ones that try to remove the tyre from your rim to high and narrow ones that force your splitter into the concrete before your tyre reaches the step up on the bump.

Well i am hoping to bring mine over some this year for a weekend (maybe both FTO's) but i will wait in till someone arranges a meet somewhere near a ferry port other wise i will get lost unless someone is willing to meet me there

Well - I think its high time we had a Dublin meet - when are you coming over? Your best bet for the meet would be to come through Dublin Port.

I'd better watch out for the speed bumps when I come over to Ireland in August ive got Bozz nose and 18 " alloys not lowered though but it low enough Didnt take the car too far when I had her back for the 5 days before the accident, but she made over the speed bumps where I live but there not too high.

Mine is lowered by 52 on the front on 18's and its has a veilside nosecone, and it just about makes it over speed bumps so i's say with yours not lowered you'll be ok

If you could make some arrangement with someone in the North -Doesn't the UK postal system treat it as part of the mainland for postral services - (not sure if couriers do) - I have a pal that lives in Cavan and wholesales goods to the UK Mainland - she goes over the border and uses the postal system to send heavy packages (up to 25kg) to UK mainland and she says its the same price as if she lived on the mainland. All you neeed is a postal address up there - someone must know someone
