Postby dave100 » Tue Oct 24, 2006 3:42 pm

Iv my MOT tmrw and was wondering if anyone knew the approximate measurements for headlight alignment when parked facing a wall, as i dont want to spend £20 on headlight adjustment if i dont need it.

I've no specific measurements Dave - last time I adjusted the lights on the FTO, I parked her up against a wall and made sure both were level, if anything, I adjusted both downwards and used a bit of common sense as regards what might be considered too high or too low. I had no problems with the resulting NCT.

Lads - how do you adjust the alignment? Are you fiddling the screw on the bulb holder?

I've always wonder how a headlight alignment was done - I've paid to have it done in the past and felt ripped off everytime.
