Postby d_andrews78 » Thu Aug 09, 2007 9:45 am

Hi, was wondering if you guys know if a set of the above has the right off sets to fit the FTO.

I know I have to sell her soon but a set of these are going cheap ish.

Well I've seen quite a few FTOs running Evo alloys particularly the Enkeis from the Evo 7 so I doubt you'll have much of a problem - not sure what offset the Evos run but they look well on the FTO.

Seconded on the Enkeis (really nice understated rim IMO). I know that a load of guys on the FTOOC signed up to the Lancer Register as paid members in an effort to get in an a deal that saved them hundreds in terms of the wheel purchase price. Take a look over on the FTOOC forum for more info.

It's these not the 6 spoke Enkeis that I'm sure you guys are thinking of as they go for big money.

What do you guys think? I've got 18" RX8's on at the moment

I bought the same alloys (EVO7) last week. I didn't fit them yet cause the new tires only came in today. From what I red, EVO 5-8 have the same offset so if the enkeis (which are standard on evo 8) fit the FTO I don't see why these ones will be different. Thats why I bought them anyway.
I'm also running now on 18'' and I want 17" for a more comfortable ride. Next I have to adjust the coilovers for the new wheels.
BTW: Does anyone have the adjusting tools for tein coilovers? I don't have them and neither does the garage where I booked the car in.
I'll have pictures with the new alloys on the car hopefully next week.

I've Evo 8 alloys on mine which are a perfect fit, and according to this website, the 7 and 8 Evos have the same fitment.

Just in case you are still wondering about these alloys here is a picture with them on my FTO

I think the Toora 18" ones looked better but the handling is so much better with these new 17" ones.I really like them and they don't look too bad either

They turned out really well - would like to see them in the flesh at the meet. Suit the FTO better tham the EVO IMO.

Why would you buy them without knowing if they are going to fit or not?
Do you know what offset the rims are? Does it come with 67.1 hubcentric rings?

ET 30 offset, no rings but ordered myself some, knew they would fit as they were fitted to a evo 7, and they were at a nice price.
