not another stepper motor problem?????

i hav this blitz stepper motor thing not sure what it does or what it can do?????? it has 3 buttons rec, mode and peak,, any1 hav a idea what they're 4???????????????????????????????????????????????
does it just read the temp, why do u need to know the temp of the stepper motor???????????????????????????

Did a quick search, and looks like its the gauge that has the stepper motor, its not monitoring the car's stepper motor - http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-175.aspx They're claiming the gauge having a stepper motor makes it more stable and accurate.

so it's a temp gauge that goes up to 150 degrees, not many suspects then!

thanks for finding that but i'm still confused???? i still don't understand what it does exactly... any idea?

Could be water temp or oil temp..

prob oil temp, my mitsu oil temp gauge goes up to 150 too. and FTO already has water temp from factory

cold 0 and hot 90 when drivein, but if i press the peak button the temp dial go up to 120 :?: :?:

The Peak button would have recorded the hottest temp the dial ever showed.. Think of it as a "memory" function.
