It looks like a standard Double-din, so should have no problem fitting it in.

I have this one myself...

http://www.chinavasion.com/product_info.php/pName/7-inch-tft-touchscreen-car-dvd-player-bluetooth/

Cheap as chips, but haven't had any problems with it (... yet anyway, fingers crossed).

should be ok. won't be a 100% perfect fit, but it'll be alright.
FTO opening is slightly different to double DIN so there'll be a gap.

Double DIN is 180 x 100 mm (ISO 7736)

Should be alright - but as per colm there will be a wee gap - nothing too unsightly..

Have a double din touchscreen with a dvd/divx changer myself.. quite happy with it..

Paint the cage black or cover with insulation tape before you fit it, it won't be as visible through the gaps on the side then.

I bought a double din as well.
Gap in question isn't too bad IMO, I left the surround off as the gear surround wouldn't fit with it in place.

To be honest, haven't got round to hooking up the tv aerial yet, so couldn't tell you. I mainly use it for radio, CDs (mp3 etc.) and the odd DVD, and for that its great. Bluetooth works, but the mic isn't the best. Touchscreen works well, and overall have had no problems.

You know using it its not the highest quality by any means, but value for money wise, I think its great (Note you will have to pay a bit of import tax or whatever you call it, but its not much). There are other radios on that site, so you can spend a bit more and presumably get better quality. I think CJ got one off that site too, so he might let us know how his is?

Don't mind at all, you clearly have sublime taste, must be a mayo thing! :P
Had mine about 3months now I'd say. It took me a little bit of time to fit it in properly, but its screwed in now, so anyone will have a bit of a job to lift it (though I've heard of screens been smashed outta frustration when these ******* can't knick them).
The delivery on mine was quite clever in that the invoice on the front, for some reason, only valued it at something like $60, so the tax on the way in is f-all. Best of luck with it anyway. :D

there should be writing on the new leads - and the leads in the FTO as well..

I'd say this though - a multimeter does come in handy..

Off the top of my head - I don't claim this to be right so check it before you blow fuses..

Red = Live
Black = Ground
Yellow = Live when Ignition on

The speaker wires are matched in Pairs..

IE:
Grey & Grey With Black Stripe
Purple & Purple with black stripe

I think the Handbrake is Green...

Keep in mind that some of these screens have a security function so they'll only let the display be on when the handbrake is pulled..

I didn't find the wiring a big deal to be honest, but then again I had the manual for both the new and old radio, so it was just a matter of matching up the wires. Plus, I had fitted a couple of radios before for previous cars, so wasn't too afraid to tackle it.
If I remember right, there isn't a connection to the handbrake for "security" reasons on that radio. There is a wire to the reverse gear though for reversing cameras, but the actually connection detail I'm not sure of, as it had been done before I bought the car. I'm sure its just a matter of leaving that wire alone though if you don't have a camera.
Let us know if you have any problems.

Mine has that, but all you do is ground the wire, and the DVD will play while you're driving. Not that I watch and drive, but its handy for the passenger..! :wink:
