Possible move to a Celica....

Might have the opportunity to buy one of these after Christmas, imported from Oz, Think it's a 1976 ST but not 100% yet. Anyone know if there's much of a following in Ireland, and would it be difficult to get parts for it?

That's a gorgeous car, I've only ever seen one other one but that was a rally car...

Is the FTO not old-school enough for you then?

A mate of mine had one a few years back - It may be old-school cool - but it will drive like a 70's car - theres only so much you can take of that.

Are you serious? It's nice but if you're considering a move... manual FTO?

I like the 70's retro cool, nice weekend car. Not as a daily driver though.

My FTO isn't a daily driver either. Don't get me wrong, I love the FTO, but I also love old cars like the Celica!
Not sure how viable keeping the FTO and getting this as well would be. I think it qualifies as a classic, so insurance and tax is not expensive.

If you're going for a classic, why not keep it in the family

Those celicas are lovely to look at.. especially the old ones.. They look like small american cars - very strange - but pleasing..

Don't know about parts - but I'm sure there's a few people that'll go "oooh" and "aaah"..
