So far done Front/back breaks oil change/filter,, now on to the spark plugs,,any1 know were i could get a hold of a spark plug tool that will fit down!! seems to be a lip or something stopping it half way? :shock:

Purchased Denso K20PR-ULL *3 and PK22PR8*3 spark plugs asked the guy in the motors factors for the NGK type but said these were the same :?: kinda want to put the best in so any suggestions would be great.

Hey thanks Bernard, but i already bought these not sure if i should bring them back?,, want to put the best performance plugs into her.

will do a bit of googling to see whats out there :D

your PK22s are very similar to IK22 except the IK22 has a tapered node aswell as an iridium tip. presumably better as smaller point for the spark to hit. they are still good for 60,000km. The other 3 you got are standard 20,000km plugs for the front bank.

alot of people like to put 6 x IK22 in the car to have the best possible plug in all cylinders. The only difference with the lower grade plug is it only lasts 20,000km in the front bank.

BTW, this is because the rear bank requires a bit of stripping of the intake manifold to change plugs, so they recommend you use the long life IK22 to avoid having to strip your manifold every 12- 18 months.

Nice1 mcgon1979 going to order 6*IK22's from ebay,, 74euro incl..P&P from the UK,, that seems to be the best offer i can find. :D

Aye - a good few of us here use those IK22 plugs - if you do a search for them on here on the forum - I'm sure a pile of posts will pop up..

I have them myself and I'm a happy camper..
