FTO in Corrie meets a sticky end

Postby colm_mcm » Sun Jan 25, 2009 12:38 pm

As of some evening this week, the lovely Veilside kitted FTO in Coronation Street is about to be no more.

It should be noted at this point that I don't watch Coronation Street, and am only going on what I'm reading in the papers.

Maria tries to run Tony down, Tony killed Liam, Maria's husband, who owned the FTO. I'm guessing this was as a result of FTO-envy.

anyway, the airbag goes off, and she might be killed, although my sister says she survives.

Some shots of the car in the Sunday World magazine, including an interior pic with dial rings and a deployed airbag.

Nice.

I thought that FTO had run someone down in Coronation Street before, either way, it's in a crash again, she aims for the dude, misses and kills the car and possibly her unborn child as well.

Just saw it on TV3 now, it's a Tip GPX, leatherette interior, and she was using the seatbelt guides!

Earlier on in the show, she bangs her head in the middle of the steering wheel, and the horn goes off.. Er..!

If it had been a manual she might have hit him.

Yes, you've had your own tragic "Veilside-kitted-FTO-being-crashed-into-a-wall-by-a-woman" moment
