Thought I'd pass this info on to you guys:

Hello Ciaran
My name is Mike Keane. I am writing to you to introduce my company;
KeaneRacing.
I believe KeaneRacing would be of interest to you and to all of the members
of the Irish FTO Owners Club.
Your members may be familiar with us from the Motorshow Ireland 2004 where
we held a stand in the main arena.

KeaneRacing is a Motorsport Engineering firm. We specialise in the design
and manufacture of one-off and custom components for racing and road
vehicles.

KeaneRacing was formed in March 2004 to fulfil a growing need in Ireland for
motorsport and high-performance components.
We offer a full range of design and development facilites for components or
complete vehicles.
We provide vehicle preparation and set-up facilities - camber, castor,
bump-steer.

To get a full indication of our companys facilities, please look at our
website - www.keaneracing.ie

If you wish, I'd be delighted to send you some of our brochures for your
meetings.

If you would like any more information, please feel free to contact me at
any time.

I look forward to speaking to you soon
Regards
Mike Keane

Also worth noting:

I have carried out some work on the gas-flow performance of the inlet and
exhaust manifolds and the cylinder head of the FTO.
As you say yourself, the factory unit is quite highly tuned.
However, the internal casting sufaces are quite rough and can be greatly
aided by high-precision polishing.

If your members have specific questions about this or any other
modifications, I'd happy to speak to them.

Regards
Mike Keane

Interesting stuff. If Mike has worked specifically on the FTO, I for one would like to see the results (dyno readings, etc) to see what can be achieved. Perhaps he has power/torque curves??
As with the case of other performance enhancements for the FTO. It would be useful to see proof of what can be achieved, to attract potential customers. Because a lot of the mods offered promise so much but deliver so little......e.g.induction kit, etc. I think it creates a certain amount of skepticism.
