Cheers man, I didn't spot that one. I popped off a PM but there seems to be a lot of interest so I'll have to wait and see.

In the mean time if anyone else knows where I might them I'd be grateful! I tried breakeryard.com aswell so hopefully something will come back from that.

Also while I'm at it if anyone has a twin oval catback system going I'd be interested.

If it's got no rust I'd be interested. I'm planning on getting a stainless one, but priority is getting her through the NCT at the moment so I'll take that one off your hands if the price is right. :) Cheers

What part of your exhaust is holed as I have a good original gpx backbox available.

Colm, still in Dublin ;) Leave it with me for the moment, I'll have to mull over whether to spring for the stainless or take the standard one. Just wondering if I'll regret it in a couple of months!

There's a six inch gash in the exhaust ahead of the backbox and I think the box itself is knackered aswell. The whole lot needs to go. Should hear the noise out of it, sounds like a WW2 fighter plane or something. Not in a good way. :)

Cheers for that Seb, I think I prefer the facelift as it just seems to fit the shape better unless the skirts are changed too. The guy who's selling the bumper with lights has just PMed me back saying they're still for sale so I'll just have to see how much postage is!

you could try 1stchoice.com. Just beware of the crowd in Birmingham if they get back to you. They took ages to dispatch something for me. Postage included in quotes.

Cheers mate, I've got the one from ftooc though. Just have to paypal him this evening. Facelift bumper and the lights for roughly 260 euro including delivery. To be honest I don't know if that's a good price but it sounds decent to me.

Just have to decide what to do about the exhaust now. I may try bang her through the NCT as is and see what happens, then grab a stainless one next month. $$$ though.

nice one. is it original or fiber glass tho ?
does it have the bracket fixed and what's the color on it if it's plastic?

reasonably priced i'd say

It's fiberglass with no bracket. You're making me dubious now, is that a bad thing? I'm all ready to pay the guy but I don't want to regret it.

Fibreglass front bumpers are a bad idea IMO.

you could justify it if it was something out of the ordinary, but for a replica facelift? it's probably gonna be a pig of a job to fit it right, unless the mould is right.

well bare in mind that a bracket has to be fixed on that , you have to paint it and you have to make sure it fit's perfectly to avoid disappointment. also the connection to the lights have to be custom made to fit a facelift.
I had to get bulbs and new holders too.

Cheers for the input guys. I'm sick of making bad purchases so I'm thinking I'd better keep looking for an original part. Feel guilty now though because I told him I was gonna take it.
