Dial rings from jayod12b

Postby StewyD32 » Tue Aug 24, 2010 7:22 pm

Got dial rings of jason during the week and just have to say that it was the best money I spent ever. The quality is top notch and there is no comparison to the ones on e-bay. If anyone is thinking about getting them or want to change the ones they have I'd urge you to get them from Jason as you woun't be disappointed.

:ll :ll :ll thanks Jason

I agree 100% on the dial rings, excellent quality and it's great to be able to keep things like that in the family :D

A little OT but @ Mitsumaniac.
That's a lovely job on the aircon display, which LEDs did you use?
You often see bright spots after they're installed but yours look nice and even.

Air con display is sweet all right. Been looking to do that to mine in red. The bluey green lights don't look right with the red of the radio and the red of my dials. Could prob use the same material for my door cills could I?

I bought standard set for this job from RB-Performance if remember correctly.
Had the same problem as the light from them was too sharp so I had to find some way to shade them.
I used white paper self adhesive tape and wrapped LEDs from the sides and top to make the light less agresive and it worked :)
This is the tape you can easily tear by fingers. It`s thin enough to give the amount of light needed for air con and so far it looks OK (about 10 months) :D

He got them by buying the blue led lights for the back of them and just replacing the stock ones that are already there.
like these:

However they are known to the patchy with the colour and aren't the best but Mitsumaniac did a great job with then as he said
