Looks like a very nice FTO indeed - some really nice bits of kit on there - I wonder why he isn't giving the dyno bhp figures though? Its an awful lot of work to do to gain .5sec on the 1/4 mile.

14.2 doesnt seem great on the 1/4 mile, I'm sure ikeane did better than that in Limerick. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Fastest FTO in Limerick was Muad with a 14.8. Ivan did a 14.9 - anything in the late 14's is excellent in an NA Mivec Manual.
I did a 14.1 in the Zed and that felt plenty fast - its just I'd expect a sub 1200kg car like the FTO with the addition of a turbo to be putting out 240-260BHP + and 1/4 mile times well into the 13's.

Don't get me wrong though - That FTO for sale is as nice an example as I've seen. If I was in the market for an FTO right now - I'd take his arm off to have that FTO for the 5.5K GBP I expect he'll end up selling it for - Its a very original and tastefully modified FTO.

Sub1200 kg i thought the kerb weight of a gpx was 1250 kg's and the GPvR was under 1200kg due to manual aircon. Thou if your right and you probably are that might explain a few little things to me suddenly shedding 50 kg's from my origional thoughts, puts what happend yesterday morning in perspective :)

Yes have to agree looks very clean and well looked after i too if i were in the market would buy but sadly no :(

Oh man - that is SERIOUSLY tasy!

*** edit - actually after having a closer look - it's not THAT tasty... what's with the black border?.. I know I'm in no position to pass judgement.. bit still.. ***

Mind you if I was in the market - I'd jump at the chance of this one..

For some reason I thought the GPX Manual weights circa 1190kgs and the GPvR manual weights 1170kgs. Obviously a Tip model would be heavier and it would also depend on the amount of options added to the car.

When I had my GPX weighed at its NCT it came in at well under 1200kgs with the rear seats, spare wheel and tools all in and 1/3 tank of petrol.

I reckon my FTO GPX was a lot closer to 1100kgs when it was stripped for the 1/4 mile.
