de-cat, downpipes, fuel pressure regulator, upgraded walbro fuel pump, denso iridiums and an aftermarket ECU to set it all up. Or just a manual conversion which will give you more power at the wheels. To be honest though its tough (and expensive) chasing power on an NA FTO. Money better spent on upgrading brakes and suspension.

+1

Trying to get more power out of an FTO without spending a load of money is tough. As per MfFTO, make it stop quicker by upgrading the braking system.

thanks for the tips guys, have begun uprating the brakes and suspension. mods so far EBC greenstuff pads up front, polybushed front & rear arb bushes. plan to uprate front discs any reccomendations? and lowering springs from camskill. are there any alternatives to cusco regarding front strutbrace for cars with ABS & TC?? would there be any benefit to performance in getting the tappets adjusted, though to be honest I think mine are in reasonably good fettle as is. Also fitting steel braided brake line kit.
