But there is some good news as my renewal is at the end of this month with Quinn so I rang them.
I was paying €780 (i think) on my 1.3 mirage coupe before I changed to the FTO last month +88 euro for the FTO for 3 months till renewal. Anyway rang them and its €807 for the FTO and my girlfriend on it. I think that is pretty good
Thank F*ck im with quinn.

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to get in touch with a manager there and see if they will be willing take a few of us a new business. They might do it if there are a good few of us. It would mean a good few thousand to them and we might have a better chance than calling individually. I'll be will ing to call and argue with them

mcgon1979 wrote:thinking the same cullen, is it worth having fully comp? I supopse the only risk is if you crash the car you get nothing. at least with comp. you get a cheque for a few grand to help you get on the road again. I read this thread from the start. its unreal to think we paid 2 or 3k to ensure the cars 7 years ago. mad money. my choice now is 688 TPFT or 1019 (was 1366 but I removed open drive option) FC with QD. I have a month to decide so will shop around. doesn't look good though. most would not hear of it. and those that did quote were through AXA and ranged from 1200 - 1650euro FC.

Have to wait and see it in black and white.
StewyD32 wrote:Yeah. Didn't think I'd get that much off. Was paying €600 even. Nice little drop if you ask me.

You should have mentioned that it is the fastest (proven) FTO in Ireland. That would have really helped.
