ride height

Postby japcarmaniac » Sun Nov 01, 2009 1:17 am

is the front of the fto supposed to be slightly higher than the back on a standard setup? was thinking about springs today and noticed the front looks unusualy high compared to the back.

Upload a picture and we can see what the stance is like... personally I dont recall the front being higher than the rear...

probably nothing a set of lowering springs wont fix anyways..

The front does look quite high in comparison to the rear on standard springs - thats why most lowering spring kits available for the FTO tend to have a much lower drop on the front.

It does be very high on the front on standard springs alright. Its roughly twice the height from the wheel/tyre to arch on the front than it is on the back.I wouldn't think there is anything wrong with yours by the way you discribed but put up a pic and we'll be able to tell for definate.

A set of Apex lowering springs will sort it.

Definitely. There's a guide on the forum to changing them yourself. Order a set of front droplinks and anti roll bar bushings while you're at it They're quite east to do once the struts are off the car and it'll sharpen up the handling.
