So whose up for the 1/4 mile???? some buzz last year! if im here im doin it!

I'll be there alright - as will quite a few peeps from here I'd imagine.

We need to start a list for the show and shine and also the 1/4 mile site battle - I'll stay outa the way of the FTO's on the site battle for the moment unless you need the Zed on the team.

Show and shine is where all the FTOs park together in a line as part of the club - just make sure the FTO is clean really - its not about the mods on the car - its just representing the FTO Ireland club - as per - http://www.fto-ireland.com/forum/phpBB2 ... php?t=5838

Dan - You won't be able to do both - you'll have to make a decision as to what you want to do (I think you'd prefer the 1/4 mile tbh).

Are you going sticking them 2 buckets on the back of her for this one again Muad? They suit the 1/4 mile well, couldnt miss it last time!

meh why bother! we're not gonna win the site battle.... up against evos, supras and the likes! so why not leave ur car as it is and see what u can do for real! all i took out last year was spare wheel and i surprised myself with my times!

Unfortunately, the date conflicts with our summer holiday so myself and Mrs. CJ can't attend

This really is the best meet opportunity of the year and it kills me not to be in a position to go. I would encourage everyone who can attend to head along, FTO-Ireland made a serious impact the last 2 years, I believe we can do better this year both in terms of track performance and the number of cars on display at the show n' shine.

I sure am even had them reworked so they'll fit on my larger diameter center pipe - last year I was running a powerflow 2" system - this yeah it'll be mongoose 2.5" all the way to the back section which is still the powerflow cans.. sadly there's a muffler on the mongoose pipe so it mightn't be as loud..

Guess I'll just have to roll down the window and shout as I drive to make up for it

If at all possible YOU should show up this is a brilliant event, I've gone twice and enjoyed it tremendeously each time.

Well after that stirring speech CJ, how can I say no? And this decision had nothing to do with the friendly looking girls in the pics.

Not sure my GS would do much in the quarter mile , so show and shine it is.

i will love to see how the car runs on the track but my GR would only bring up team's time so i'll let anyone with a more powerfull engine to Drag.

Strip it out + use a pair of 16's on the front and your GR Manual might just surprise a few Mivecs.

I will indeed be attending this year, in which car will all depend on the next few weeks but I'll update when I know more, it'll be either the show and shine or the 1/4 mile!!!

For anyone who's only half thinking of going to this!! GO!!! it's the best meet of the year bar none!!!

i was the slowest but in my defense it was my first time doin it and i didnt have ny of my car stripped out! just had the spare wheel out!

Kinda relying on Dave, Russman and Pete to front-up (all have previously done the 1/4 mile in Limerick) - but there are a couple of other Irish Zed owners that may be interested - if not then we may have to borrow an FTO or two.

Not sure on whether or not I'll be doing the 1/4 mile again this year, depends on which car I have as now are both up for sale! If I have only the black one I doubt I'll do it again to be honest.....

Thats provided I have the cosmetics fixed before then. Should have it done alright. And Seb, I've no real interest in doing the 1/4 mile just yet, bit of a novice. but if you want my car for it Im cool with that? Its not stripped out etc but if you think it might do better be my guest and use the GR in show and shine? I dunno, its a suggestion if nothing more...

wow. now that's an offer .i'm flattered
my gr won't be at show & shine standards and i wouldnt want anything happening to your baby on the drag strip so i'll stick to draging my car the way it is .

Z team are you a bit short ?

any other cars will you accept?

Surely we can get more for the S+S!! We had 11 I think last year or something! Thought we'd be up numbers this year not down.
