HT Leads & Coil packs

Somebody told me that there's only 3 HT leads on the FTO v6 engines -the other 3 plugs are powered through coilpacks - I was a aware of the coilpacks - but ehm - if one was to upgrade the HT leads - would new cables to the coilpacks not be an idea as well?

I know the gain is very small (if there is any) think of this more as a theoretical question.

maud, i got competition magnecor leads a few weeks ago, AFAIK they go to front bank plugs and rear bank coils too, but ill check after me dinner when i take off cover, get back to you later.

have taken off cover............ they plug into front bank and reach back to rear bank coils,
OK! i cant see see under manifold, but reckon they plug straight to original coils, are uprated coils available for these
