@OI you are busing it to work -Oh how the mighty have fallen -it doesn't seem that long ago since you were appearing on TV and video games as some kind of driving Goddess I guess the recession catches up with us all eventually -my commiserations. We'll have a whip around for you.

I still have the car, I refuse to spend an hour each way stuck in it to get to work and also, avoidance of door dings in stupid car parks. You can still have a whip round though if you like, I'll buy myself a nice dress or something

Twas a great couple of days really enjoyed it.

Karting was great aul craic. Not a lot of overtaking to be had, (at least not without begin a bit naughty), but not bad at all considering it was indoors. And good to see Shane beatin again..

Nice spin out to the pier too despite road conditions, look forward to seeing the photos. Food and drink was very good too, and great banter all night, so overall very good weekend.

Just back to Maynooth now, roads were getting progressively worse on the way back, but I don't think its as bad here as I when I left Friday.

Thanks to all who came along, and great as always to see I few new faces.

Hope ye're all home safe at this stage, and looking forward to the photos.

It was a close one, im off to build my trophy stand now.

I have the flu now and im too fecked to drive back to dublin so its a half 4 start again.

Good craic at the meet guys - enoyed the karting even if it was virtually impossible to overtake (without driving over the top of them ala Topcat and Dragonheart ). Stewy drove very well indeed from pole and deserved his win in the final.I'll be looking for payback at what I hope will be our next karting day in Tynagh.

Sorry I had to run off mid-evening for the boxing - by the time I got back there was a lot of catching up (shandy-wise)to do.

Ah crap! I just thought of a great photo op! Grace's car has a 'Boxer Inside' sticker on it where mine has 'Mivec Inside', but I suppose I'm a little late by now!

Good meet by the way, enjoyed the few pints and the karting was great fun, looking forward to doing it again! This time I'll try not to stick my rear wheel in Tom's ear. (His fault by the way.....)

Christ, now that I think of it, it was a pretty dangerous for me. Between the road conditions driving down, Dragonheart parking his go-kart on top of me, and Bernards dog trying to drag me into a frozen lake, I was lucky to get through the weekend.
