Did a deal on the 95 GPX Tiptronic earlier, has cream leatherette seats with black FTO logo, tinted windows, a fancy looking Clifford alarm with remote start, 18" alloys with new front tyres, NCT'd today, also has rear wiper and sunroof. Everything works (apart from the rev counter) and the body is in very good condition bar a few bits that need touching up. It's driving bang-on, changes up and down gears smoothly, and there's a lovely backbox and induction kit on it.
An absolute bargain.

I saw that advertised on carzone, he seemed very up front about what needed doing, a good sign surely. Well done, happy motoring.

It's a lovely colour, nice buy! I was looking at it earlier but I really want a manual and I'm not a major fan of low-profile tyres.

I'm gonna take a look at this one tomorrow: http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cf ... rID=717445

I gave him a ring today and he hasn't got the spoiler, but I quite like how it looks without it. I might try and bring him down on the price though in case I want to buy one. Along with a CD player.

I know you can get that grey FTO for 4 grand. That's what I got him down to anyway.
I think it's a GR, so as far as know it doesn't get a spoiler

Ah well that sounds promising then because I'm not TOO pushed right now, I just want an FTO. ;) I can always upgrade down the line.

Not standard at all. Damn, think I'll need to get drilled and crossed discs on my GPvR. onto the list. Looks well Colm.

Calibers are standard but discs aren't - nice1.

Just ordered a set of EBC discs from RR, I think they could very well be the same as when you have there - supposed to be very good.

If you have more pics of her, please post ;-)
I love that color.

yeah, the brakes are nice and sharp. I'm getting the impression there was a fair few quid spent on this car.

thanks for all the replies guys!

Should have insurance etc. sorted out by monday at the latest, hopefully by the weekend. then the fun begins.

Work planned this month:
Tidy up of few marks on bumpers
Chrome rings and white dials
Installation of satnav, DVD, radio combo and new speakers (old ones not included)
New back tyres.
New rear light cluster, (small corner chipped off)

It's strange, but I like this one more than more expensive ones I've looked at, get a good feeling about it ;)

I'll bet you got it for 3000 since he had it advertised for that at first, then he NCTed it the next day and jacked the price up. I'm sure you spotted that and pointed it out to him. ;)
