ftogirl, can I ask what test you performed to rule out the motor? . Did you check to see if power was being delivered to motor when engaging central locking? When locking the door with the key, does the lock appear 'sticky'?
If you want to completely rule out the motor as the cause, consider swapping in the working motor from the other door.
a universal motor has been fitted on the drivers side, connected through the old one. central locking works with the key but not with key fob.
when operating key remote you can hear the relay clicking but does'nt open or lock the doors. motor seems fine not sticky. when operating key fob neither doors work only when using key in door. removed motor and tested on battery works fine.
