no claims discount

getting proof of no claims discount, how can you do that? my current insurance company have qouted me stupid renewal price, but found somone £400 cheaper!! but they will be asking for proof of my 3 nears no claims, how can i do this? do i ask my current insurance company for a certificate? never had to do this before

They usually send out a proof of no claims with the renewal notice. Ring them for a copy if they haven't.
