Hi all,

I am new to this forum but my car is not, i purchased it from one of your members ( Sebastian ) about 2 years ago - he tells me that it was also owned by another member before him aswell.

Unfortunately the time has come for me to sell her. She has been great fun and super reliable but its just not big enough anymore.

Sebastian will probably still be able to give you more details on the cars specifics than i will but have a look at the following and let me know if it is of interest to anyone.

It does not have an NCT but i have the failure cert and all thats on it is the Nearside Front Bush & Offside Rear Brake Hose ( which i have ) - the tappets are also noisy on it so could do with a good oil change to dampen it down.

She starts first time, every time. new battery fitted about 1 month ago. has been in daily use for the past couple years and i have never had any problems with it at all.

Too many good points to list really - would be a great buy for someone wanting to get on the road for a VERY GOOD price or on the oher hand if anyone wanted to use it as a donor car for an ongoing project then you would find ALOT more good parts than bad.

@sebastian - thanks for that. Think it's a very good and fair price for what's a great car. Will wait and see. Hopefully someone on here can give it the home it deserves.

@ottostreet - I'm know what would happen if I tried that one!! Can only really cope with a 2 door sports car for so long. As I said before, nothing worse than life getting in the way of fun and what ye want !!

BTW if it is a 95 v6 then it is a GR and is only 170 bhp not 180bhp that you have in your Advert.

Looks nice, But you really need a head on view and a three quarter view so people can see the cars face. I know thats what I look for when buying a car.

Looks clean inside. You need to change from 180bhp to 170bhp. Otherwise I will have to get in touch with the advertising standards board

You can steal some ideas from my ad and photo format if you like. The photos you have up are somewhat poor if you don't mind me being honest. It looks like you were falling over when taking a couple of the shots. If you're no good with a camera, just take a few snaps of the whole car at all angles and I will crop the images and cut the crap out of them for you. I took the snaps for the one below.

taken at 7am - i prob was falling over a bit ! ah no, just taken on my phone and the camera is no use. im going to take some fresh ones over the weekend and change them around. thats why i used Sebastians photo as the cover for the moment. she will be back online in all her glory in 24 hours or so !!

When i have them changed i would appreciate any input / help on offer. its the pics that sell a car so all opinions welcome.

Very good. Also (and this is just a suggestion) I wouldn't put "(non mivec)" into the ad. I am sure a few people would be looking at the ad and know nothing about mivecs. If they search "mivec", they might decide not to look at your car and instead, search for mivec for more power. Just a thought, but I know a few advertise and say that the car is non mivec. I personally wouldn't, hoping to attract the less informed fto lovers too. If it is a mivec...well...I would then advertise the hell out of that fact, but if it's not mivec, there is no need to say so, because a person with fto knowledge will already know when you say it's a GR-170bhp.

Yeah Good shout Goz. i had it up there thinking that maybe someone without the knowledge that might want one but be afraid of all that goes along with the mivec ( insurance, Mpg etc.. ) might see it and go for it but on reading your post i can definitely see where your coming from. ill sort that out along with the pics over the weekend and see if i have any bites on it.
