steering rack

had a little accident saturday morning and it turns out i need to replace my stering rack.does anyone know where i could find one of them and how much would it cost.also can alloys be straightened if dented

Bad luck chum, there's a few fto being broken for parts on the for sale forum. If you need to replace the rack as a result of the accident I'm guessing the wheels too far gone ,best to replace it to be on the safe side.
only really adviseable to repair minor kerb damage, as a badly knocked wheel could have hairline cracks, only way to be sure is have it x-rayed

the alloy is not badly damaged.just a bit dented with deep scratch marks.could these be cleaned up

Where are you based? NEW LUK WHEELS are based in Carrickfergus, they charge about £60 per wheel for a full refurbishment! :shock:
are your alloys standard mitsi ones or aftermarket? you could prob pick up a standard one in the for sale forum cheaper than that.

these are after market ones.19 inch 5 spoke ones
