wanted standard back box

Hi, anyone got a good condition standard back box for sale here for a 1996 GR? want one before the nct coz i know the stainless one on it it a little too loud for the db test. cheers guys

donation to the club of €20 will do. Comes with a decent exhaust too. It is cut about 5 inches toward the cat connection.

A lot of ftos have serious rust on the mid section where it joins the back box. You'd want to check yours I'd say.

I will check it out, but i think its in pretty good nick, because I think it is an after market exhaust that came from the first fto i had.

They don't tend to be an easy bolt-off bolt-on job

The backbox I have is cut before the flange. But I might have another one come to think of it. Will have a look today

That box was originally on the 95 gr I had. I then transferred it to the 94 gr I bought from Gerry and from there it went onto the gpx no bother at all.

I have no idea how much it would cost to ship. I don't think it would be cheap though, because it's heavy, bulky and has a strange shape. If you wan't to arrange a courier, i can wrap it up ready for collection. Unless someone else passes from Dublin and through Offaly from time to time? Let me know what you want. I can try get an estimate for you if you like, but it will have to go into a box for a more accurate postal quote.

Sorry mate. I never got a chance to get a quote for the exhaust to be shipped to you. I haven't been at my brothers in a while, but if you still need that backbox, I will be able to get it sorted this week.

yes. it was cut off. the new back box was welded on with quad pipes.
