The price may be high - bit it does look like an incredibly sorted FTO.

No chaved out car ad would be complete without an exagerated power claim
Power: 162 kW / 220 PS

I guess if you were in to that sort of thing it might be worth a few K max (ignoring the slowing market and recession). Since St Patricks day has passsed this year I reckon it has depreciated further in the last week (specifically on midnight March 17th) like a Christmas tree on St stephens day. Best advice would be to hold off until March next year and try to sell to some tuning house/importer to run in the St.Patricks day parade as an advertisement. Not forgetting the leprechaun costume for full effect.

Would I be right in saying that registering a car like an FTO in Germany would be expensive?

People are prepared to pay over the odds for something rare and either necessary or desirable. Rarity alone does not impart value. It is of course a matter of opinion, but to my mind this car only has rarity on it's side and is lacking in both of the other two qualities.

Registering Japanese cars ( non euro) almost anywere in Europe it's a pain in the back price wise . :(
So much for bringing an FTO back home at some stage :(

there is an FTO owners club in russia, there are around 10 fto's spotted in my home country , and i'm sure there are a good few polish guys who took some fto's to Poland when they returned from irl/uk .
few of them spotted in spain and the islands as well.

the car is still on polish plates i see, so maybe it's sold via a German dealer

FTO is a rare car .. but there are rarer cars out there

lol didnt mean it like that.

But I dont actually count the FTO as a rare car. ts not "common" like a civic or a celica but not what id call rare

I love the interior of that car (bar the writing on the seat). Its not OTT (in my opinion :) ) but the quality looks spot on. The tidy conversion and proper paint job (albeit in a questionable colour) shows serious time gone into it.

But yeah, still pricey. :)
