Hey, just wondering do ye know will the starter from my 1.8 fto work in the 2 lt or are they different?

Helen, the GS uses a different starter (MD301348) to the V6 models (MD320576) as far as I'm aware...

Ah Nuts, Was hoping it would do the job and save me some money. Anyone know how much a starter is roughly?

Okay Main Dealer just quoted me €1205 & vat which works out at €1458.05 for a bloody starter.

Go second hand, steelroe, Ricerocket et al. Camskill sell them for £150 (although you must send them our old one to get it at that price)

FTO + Main Dealer = Worst possible price and snooty service. Don't do it.

Tell me about it went to main dealer for front droplinks was charging me 150 euros a pair camskill 60 euros the pair. Whats the story there vat and tax no way.
