Got a manual set on CD from another guy through Ebay before, there tends to be various FTO manuals on there every so often. The one I got was different to this one, and the first 4 or 5 things seemed to match the first 4 or 5 things in the docs on fto-ireland, but theres other stuff there that isn't on fto-ireland.

The cover on the CD was beautifully done, but CD itself was just a standard cdr with black marker writing on it, pity he didn't do a cd label and make a complete job of it.

Now all I'm short is my FTO! ~ 7 weeks hopefully!

Kev.

Kev, can you let me know what manuals are on the CD that are not listed on the Downloads page? (the Body Repair manual is probably one, I don't have this in electronic format though). I'd be interested in making a full complement available for download for users of the site.
The people selling these manuals on ebay have downloaded them elsewhere and are trying to make a quick buck by throwing a CD cover together and flogging them on. I'd much rather they were freely available to enthusiasts.

When you put it that way.... here's the table of contents:

Workshop manual 1
Workshop manual 2
Engine manual
Technical manual
Electrical & Wiring manual
Engine ECU Pinout Diagram
Aircon instructions (305kb)
Traction Control manual (812kb)
Dash warning light diagram (64kb)
Logos (.eps files, not great)

All the others are large enough, several megs.

Kevin, the only one I don't have is the TCL manual, any chance you could email it on? The only one that you seem to be missing is the Body Repair manual, I've been looking for that in .pdf format for a good while now....

tried bidding for someitem this guy was selling, noticed that nobady had bid until I made my first bid and then bids came from all directions. A bit stange if you as me.
Just got a mail from e-bay to say the seller was suspended from their their site. Suspect he was bidding himself to raise the price.

IMO threre are two problems with auctions - that is one (where the owner bids against you) and other is that you get cought up in the auction fever and spend more than you had expected to.

I use SnipeRight when I bid on e-bay. You simply tell sniperight what auction/s you want to bid in and set a reasonable price that you're prepared to pay for each item. It then waits untill two seconds before each auction closes and places your bid for you - so you avoid both of the above problems.

You can also place bids on multiple auctions of the same items and if you are successful with one of them it will withdraw from all of the other auctions. A handy tool if you like getting things through e-bay. I got it from www.download.com
