Should i have just taken the ticket!!!!

Was in town last night and pulled in outside the palace as i spotted a car park space that would require a "messy" U turn. I waited until the coast was clear and did my U turn. Just as i do the U turn naturally the next car coming up the road was Traffic Corps who wound down his passenger side window and gave me a lesson on the rules of the road................................. Just as I was saying 'Yes sir three bags full sir' he then gave me the speech of "imagine me flying down the road here in pursuit of another vehicle, the last thing i would expect would be a "little Audi TT" pulling out from the wrong side of the road!!!
It was difficult but i managed to agree with him and apologise but then spent the whole night cursing him!!!

Even my wife would know the difference between a 350z and a TT.
