The GPvR was available from the factory in white, red and black.

The Nakaya Tune FTO was based on the GPX, not the GP.

It would be very easy to spec up a GPX to GPVR standard. Rory has a GPVR diff, HID's are widely available, as are Version R spoilers.
You'd also have the benefit of front fogs, proper climate control, elec folding mirrors etc.

Don't see what the fuss with GPVRs is TBH.

I think the fuss was brought by Honda comparisons with the letter 'R'.

I'd love to know the exact differences?

Not sure but are the following not differences with the Version R

Bucket seats
LSD
Different CAT + no sensor on it(Well on mine anyway have to confirm could be a replacement?)
Strut Braces
HIDs
Different design on front drop links
No climate control
Aero: no folding wing mirros

Not sure what else??

Differences:

GPX gets:
variable wiper delay (unless GPVR has optional rear wiper)
more sound deadening
cloth door cards
Climate control (incl. outside temp, ice warning)
side skirts
front fogs
elec folding function

GPVR gets
coloured seats
LSD
Front and rear Strut Braces
HIDs
lowered suspension
manual aircon
Version R spoiler

my point is all these bits can be added to a GPX if you really wanted a silver one!

True but wouldn't a re-spray be cheaper then all these bits :D
I know the seats alone would be hundreds.
Fitting the LSD would be a job.

What's the story with the Aero power density!!

Sorry for highjacking the thread

The spoiler that came with the version R was optional on the GPX, IIRC the HIDs were too.

Spoiler was on the GX Aero Series as well. Dragonheart has HIDs on his GPX. LSD was on the Special edition too!

Like colm said I have the HIDs as standard, and a vR spoiler too. Have a rear strut brace but reckon thats aftermarket, and the recaros are fitted but also aftermarket. Does seem like a lot of the GPvR extras were options though on the GPX.

Think the Aero had side skirts. Thats the conclusion we came to at the last meet anyway. Also have the variable wiper speed. (very handy)
Fully functional White GPvR....
