Spotted a silver FTO -think it was a GS on RSA plates, parked then later cruising around the OR Tambo Parade/Marine Parade area. Didn't have any flyers on me unfortunately

The guy I was referring to was rsg who contributed to this post amongst others.

Slightly off topic -but the laws on vehicle registration in SA have changed in recent years. You can not import a used vehicle unless you have owned it previously in another country (while residing there). So effectivly no legal used imports allowed.
Furthermore you are not allowed either register or transfer the registration of a lhd vehicle, with no exemptions -even for classic cars, at least according to my car enthusiast contact over there.
Think about that for a minute -you pay top dollar for a '60s Mustang fast back a few years back. Then you find you can't even sell the thing when the time comes. I guess you'd have to get a rhd conversion or export -not great options.
