Nice one Dave, keep us updated! Out of interest, are you fitting yourself or have you someone lined up?

we'll be fitting the majority of it ourself...... We'll be doing it down in Karl's old man's garage so if we get stuck we'll have a few people around who'll know what to do!

Looking forward to seeing this on the rolling road - we should try and get a mini meet organised at the rolling road for when you're sorted.

I imagine it will take a bit of time to set the turbo conversion up right though - Keep us updated with how you are getting on.

yeah the hardware side of it shouldn't be the problem apart from sourcing an intercooler!! but the set up of the rest of it, the greddy stuff and software side of things should be interesting!

I'd say you'll get an intercooler no problem - if all else fails you could try forge (might be exepnsive though).

Happy days though now the turbo has landed...... looking forward to seeing the installation

I hope I'm around for this - I'll use it as the incentive I need to get my ass up to Westward and get the Golf Revo'd. Be good to see everyone's FTO too.,

Will your insurance go up by adding this kit ? I presume you have to declare it up front once you have made the mod ?

no there's no insurance problem, i've got a trade policy now which basically means i can drive whatever i like, one of the stipulations on my policy is that my own "cars" can be sports and high performance!
