Tyre question - do I have to buy more than one?

I know it' s a bit of a silly question, but I just noticed that one of my tyres has a bad bulge in it. I think it's from a very bad pothole that I hit recently.
Anyway, I need to replace the tyre but the other 3 are all fairly new and in good nick. I can't find anyone who does them - the previous owner got them in Cork but do I need to replace them in pairsaor will I be Ok just replacing the one?

Ideally, you should use the set tyres on each end where possible, mismatched tyres can sometimes yield undesirable handling characteristics.
Whats the model of tyre by the way?

They're SAVA - as used by Ian Huntley!!! when I was checking them up on the web I found a snippet that said that 4 new tyres he put on his car were SAVAs. they're a budget tyre.

I haven't found a problem with them - good wear and good grip but I haven't driven the FTO with any other tyres so I could be wrong.

If you're using budget tyres then you shouldn't be worrying about handling or cornering! Unless you're use decent tyres then I wouldn't worry about this one too much.
