Robed cat

Postby finers » Fri Jun 11, 2010 8:04 pm

Hey guys im at my wits end with this, because i got so much help from this site over a year ago i decided to lend my Cat to Chris, fatboyfat, i have tried everything since and been OVERLY patient and understanding listening to his false promisses and obvious lies, i know he may be friend with a few on this forum and honestly seemed like a sound dude, i dont even get a reply from him now and personally if it was my friend i'd be livid that someone went out of there way getting my CAT to him just to have it stolen.

My nct is well overdue at this stage and im just finished up my masters and am jobless so cannot afford and should not have to afford forking out for a new cat, i thought Chris was a reputable guy but obviously not, i myself am not full of empty promises and will not let this go without an explanation from this guy, i have proof i lended this to him and correspondence, now that im now busy im going to one way or another get an answer, i know people that may be friends with him are shocked but with the light of this situation any help from anybody else would be great.

Anyway i have attached the correspondence i have had Chris (fatboyfat), the end of the post being the start of the conversations.

Sean.

well my emissions were over 3% when i had it on, got a new one myself and they dropped to 0.05% or something. I also changed my throttle position sensor and air filter when i used my one. Also gave it a healthy dose of diptane. Saying that though Tom aka TopCat was adamant his was up to scatch when i failed with his on. No way to know for sure i guess but id be dubious to tell you the truth. I'd offer u mine but i bought a hi flow one because theres no draw back of a cat in oppose to a decat. Its on the car the whole time, and i dont have a decat to replace it with unforunately...

now that you mentioned this,i thought chris bought his own super flow cat for his fto?? for the nct.

Hi Sean I'm putting a decat on mine in the next 2 weeks, so you can have a lend of mine if you like.

I know you'd prefer to get your own one back but just so you can get your nct out of the way...

I just passed mine recently so its definitely doing its job.

Just a tip Sean, your address is down in some of those lines up there, you might be better just removing it, public forum and all that.

Ye i thought he bought his own as well, but i cannot explain why he's being so elusive after stating he was going to ship it several times, he never came across as a robin bas***d until he completely blanked my messages and didn't ship back my CAT.

Well trust me guys im not leaving this one lye, have his full name and know where he works from previous discussions so i will get an answer one way or another it's a pity he can't be man enough to give me a reason himself, just ran off like a robing child, and hopping i will just purchase i new one, i wouldnt be surprised if he sold it with his car the robing thief no other reason can come to mind, and what i really can't figure out is why he sent me through hoops obvious BS responses i was getting all along because he SEEMED like a genuine guy.

He obviously doesn't know who i am, im not a push over but am a reasonable guy and would have listened to reason, if he may have lost it etc.. and we could have settled something fair, i'm pissed off with myself for going out of my way and arranging to meet some of his friends that were down in Dublin to give them the CAT,

If your reading this Chris don't make it messy'r then its already getting just man up and contact me and explain or else it will get embarrassing for you when i call into your place of work!.

Sean,
Just got 2 FB messages from 2 lads on the site about this. I had that CAT couriered back to you months ago!! I had only presumed you had got it, obviously not. I sent it the last time you PM'd me and haven't come back to the site since. Im completely stunned you haven't received it. I will contact the courier service first thing in the morning as he is a friend of mine and find out WTF is going on. If for whatever reason he says it didnt get there or whatever, i will replace the cat with a brand new one. I realise how annoying this must be for you as you gave it out of good faith but I promise you I gave it to my mate with the address you gave me. My number is 0877443383 anyway if you want to text me tomorrow to get an update. I know its up on a public forum now but hopefully it will prove to you that im not out to catch you or anything. I dont even have an FTO anymore so it would be of absolutely no benefit to me! Im very sorry about all this. And as I said, if for some reason the eejit doesnt have it, I will replace it asap. Apologies, Chris

EDIT: just got your PM from April 10th saying you will contact me when it arrives.

No bothers at all, but your not the only one who can have things sorted! haha, i find it kind of pitiful but you want to go down this road its perfectly ok with me! And you have my number too! Don't suppose you want to be as open with your personal details as I have been? No bothers though, I have your address!
