Exhaust mid section!

Postby JD » Sat Nov 05, 2005 11:44 am

My exhaust has broken apart from the back box, just where it joins the box, looks like it's rusted to hell. She was sounding quite raspy lately  , anyway I presume I need a new mid section, from the cat back to the back box. Anyone got one to sell or know where I could pick one up. ('95 GR)

I presume I could put it on myself if I can get one.

Cheers

Looks a bit dirty aright but the chrome end polishes up well,,,.you sure can fit it yourself or take it to an exhaust place wouldn't cost much i'd say.

Cheers Chuck, PM'd

Not sure if it's that piece I need or the pipe before that, that I need, I'll get a closer look tomorrow in the light.

JD,

If you can’t get a cheap replacement give this fella a call 085-7261957. He fixed up my exhaust when it gave in. Top notch job, can’t recommend him highly enough. He can do you up a full custom job or do a repair, he uses stainless steel all the way and makes to order in his place, out the N7 direction as far as I can remember.

Luckily mine was just a repair job, he welded it up put on strengtheners and said it would not break again, if it did he would fix it free of charge. Think it only cost me about €25 at the time.

Sorry don't have his name or better directions. I’ll get more info if you want. Have to dig it out.
