Slightly off the subject, I thought that the last season wasn't as good but it's still a "must see" program. Also, what ever happened to the German girl form the Nurbergring who was supposed to be doing some of Clarkson's driving?

Yes, I would have to agree, but they are on and off shows suppose they can't get it right all the time?Yeah that was a great show, she kicked Clarksons ar$e around the run, really put it up to him, I wouldn't mind doing it in the FTO, now there's a thought for the next meet...! any takers

Fantastic track - it is a serious ambition of mine to take a spin over for a few fast laps. Play it all the time on GT4 on the playstation - very challenging track.

Heres a vid of an S2000 round the ring - the drivers a bit messy (too aggressive-sawing at wheel) but you get the drift -

You could do like Clarkson did with the NSX and see if you could beat your virtual time 8)

You know I am - problem is - I doubt there are too many others on the Irish site willing enough to put their FTO through it - It was hard enough to get a few to do the recent 1/4 mile drag. I know the UK site have been over to the Ring a couple of times - would be an excellent idea for a joint meet - then at least the Irish numbers wouldn't be that important - we could go ahead with 3 or 4 FTO's from this side.

Perhaps a Mondello trackday would make more sense initially? I've a Saturday course planned for Nov there to get a feel of the place. Would love to take the FTO for a spin round there - I reckon it could spring a surprise or two.

Would be worthwhile getting in with www.dtdirl.com on that front, I'll speak with a fellow RX-7 owner whos a fairly active member of the club. (the guy with the RX-7 on track at the Limerick show),
