Postby Speedyboy » Fri Feb 25, 2005 2:43 pm

Just got word that my FTO is gone, I had an excellent time with the car and im very sad to see it go. Almost changed my mind a few times but the ball is rolling on the new car so had to be sensible.

Good luck to the new owner who is on the site and thanks everyone for your help while I had the car,

Im sure I will come back to GpvR in a few years but until then ill be around talking s&^t as usual.

:( Ah well, I suppose you gotta move on some time. Whoever bought it has a unique motor, that colour looks great on an FTO. How long will you be hangin' around for the 'liner btw?

Good luck to the new owner who is on the site

 I had one of those buses before the GS, thinking back there is a bit of a :r image assosicated with the MX-3, mind you, they did have the title of the smallest (i.e :r est) V6 engine in the world. Unfortunately, I had the 1.5l 'Autozam AZ-3' import model, dog slow I tell ya.

Hadn't heard you were selling it... never any fun to sell your car but if it at least goes to a good home!

I've missed what you're waiting on?

Yeah I know that its in good mechanical and body condition but the extras are all jappy symbols so im not sure on them bar the body kit which is obvious.

You need shares in Shell to have his and hers skylines (the tip one was in the late teens for mpg)

Ill leave her to explain her actions but its not too mad this time

Ok - then it has to be a Trueno - not bad choice if it has the right (mini skyline) kit.

You are my alterego Speedyboy - so it wasn't much of a guess really.

Nah - If your girlfriend is a true petrolhead then it has to be a trueno though the levins not bad either. Good fun to be had in a trueno.

For what its worth I was going to suggest a Levin (day late and dollar short)
At the risk of introducing another topic split...............Whats the difference between the Sprinter Trueno & the Corolla Levin? Other than the badging?

Good question - v difficult to answer - as the both the Trueno and Levin have been around a while in different guises - while early Truenos have RWD - the later day ones can be FWD. They freq share the same chassis and engine as well.

I suppose the Trueno has a bit more "cult status" and the majority of Trueno's I have seen seem to have more kit than the levins I have seen so I guess the Trueno is more highly regarded in Japan.
