Mivec Conversion Query

I recently bought a '96 GR FTO and have managed to break the engine (mechanic thinks it’s a Cam shaft bearing issue) meaning that the cheapest solution will be an engine replacement. I realized that this might be a good opportunity to upgrade the engine to a Mivec. Any idea what components are necessary for this move? the engine code is 6A12.

I know its been done before (I think i remember "Japco" in the UK doing a couple) - can't see any major issues with a switch to a mivec engine except to say that if you are going for a different engine you should perhaps consider something like a VR4 (2.5 turbo) engine and get yourself some serious performance.
