idle stepper

hey ok was just wonderin has ne1 else had trouble wit their idle stepper??? had to get mine cleaned and adjusted today cuz the car kept conkin out every time it went under 1000 revs tis grand now but was just wonderin did ne1 else have this trouble????
tink ill have to get a new one so another question is where is the best value place to buy from. my sis can get one for me for £75 sterling...... how much do they usually retail for???

The stepper motor is a pretty common problem alright, do a search for stepper and you'll find loads of others with the same thing.

Dunno how much they retail for, drop Ricerocket a pm and he'll be able to tell you straight away how much he could supply one for.

75 quid is a good price for a new one. They are retailing for about 80 plus postage at the mo.

And yes, very common fault, but after 100K miles I didn't really complain at having to replace it.
