As per Gino's for sale ad, the rate being talked about seems to be about 8k for a manual GPX in good nick. With the cream leather interior I'd say you should get about that.

Out of interest, are you looking at importing? Would love one myself but don't think I could afford the running costs \ maintanence bills, if you're after an early model, it would want to have an engine rebuild to make it worthwhile.

Well you're selling in NI - so I guess you need to go by UK prices which curiously seem to have dropped quite a bit recently.

I would say circa 5K GBP (add a couple of hundred for the wheels) which isn't too far off 7.5K Euros - less than you'd get in Rep of Ireland :?

CJ its a local one. 1993 wth a rebuild il prob give it a look over the wkend. Defo gotta b careful wth them or pop goes t weasel

Yes MyFTO, prices in GB seem to have dropped a bit. Wud anyone on this board be interested in £4500 with stock 16s for a quick sale if this rex is any good, or does VRT make it too dear?

4500 -> roughly 6750 stg, and VRT would add ~1300 (give or take), so you'd be looking at about 8k euros, doesn't sound too bad... I'm assuming they won't charge VAT on cars coming down from the north though?

I'm happy with my GR myself, just working out the figures...

This is due to a huge influx of substandard 94-96 fto's after being imported into england over the past 6 months.

The engine on an RX7 lasts about 60000 miles then breaks down. Keep the FTO or buy a GTO.The fuel consumption is terrible

Big generalisation on the mileage. A properly looked after engine should last for 90K. One things for certain-id b looking a rebuild wotever mileage on a 95 car! Mileage v poor but car isnt my daily driver
GTO different ball game altogether compared to the likes of FTOs and Rexs. If i was going down that road a supra is a much more capable machine by all accounts
