dial faces

Postby marty » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:47 pm

apologies firstly for asking so many questions recently! im trying to get as much work done to my fto while it's off the road and i have a bit of free time! hopefully in the future i'll be able to answer a few questions instead of always asking! was wondering if any one can tell me, do the needles of the standard dials just pull off of the dial faces? i have the dial unit out of the car and the surround and plastic casing off and now i want to remove the dial faces, but id need to remove the needles and didnt want to just go ahead and yank them off if thats gona break them! thanks in advance! :)

why are you removing the dial faces?

If its the case you have after market dials you want to install, you just slip them over the originals in case you an to go back to the originals. (slip the needle through the hole made for the needle cups). This is the only reason i know of people wanting to take the needles off their dials
