FTO Engine V6 Mivec 6A12 oil Pressure

I would like to ask if anyone can help me? how much should the oil pressure be in bars or PSI please as I have a problem with my FTO engine. Thanking in advance best regards,

50 PSI @ 4000 RPM
and 80 PSI in mivec

my engine is going up to approx 140 psi do you think I have a problem with oil pump? thanks once again

Was wondering alright as the manual has no info on oil pressures.

yea got it from the locksmyth he quoted what his gauges were reading

Can anyone tell me what type of oil this engine needs please( example my meckanic used 20-50 oil is this good or it has to be different?) also about oil pressure are 50psi and 80psi in Mivec correct pls as I can't find manuals on tyhe net for FTO cars!!

20W50 is a heavy grade oil, too heavy for the FTO IMO. Use 10W40 semi sythetic or 5W40 fully sythentic. Can't help you out with the oil pressure as its not documented to my knowledge, I'd be inclined to go with Dans figures. Anyone got an oil pressure gauge fitted who can confirm?
