Stereo and aerial

Postby Syn » Sat Sep 13, 2008 4:02 pm

Hi guys, just bought my first fto and really pleased with it. Just got a couple of questions.

1. I eventually managed to fit my stereo, took the old one out and got blanking plate as is a single din. Problem is, now my automatic aerial on the back left wing doesnt go up so i cant receive radio stations.

2. My cars got the cd changer in the armrest, does anyone know where i can get a connection to go from the changer wire to convert it into one for a pioneer headunit?

Any help is much appreciated

does your stereo have an aeriel out power cable on the back? check the manual to see if it has this feature.

it's usually the blue wire on a standard ISO plug. trace back to the headunit and see if there's a pin on the stereo for that part of the plug. also check where the blue wire on the adaptor lead leads to on the mitsubishi plug (should be the pink Mitsubishi wire).
