Reliable Mechanics?

any reliable mechaics in the dublin area that anyone has used before?

my friend who usually does all of my mechanical work doesnt have the the time to change the tappets in my GR....

Paul Nolan seems to be your only man in the Dublin area... do a search and you should find loads of posts recommending him.

yep..

he seemed to charge a bit much as far as i could see...

but i mean come on? isn't there supposed to be the most FTO's centralised in Dublin?

I do all of the basic servicing myself (as do plenty of other Dub owners), for work that needs a lift but isn't too involved, I might use a local mechanic. Anything mildly tricky that involves pulling the engine apart I'd be inclined to leave it to PN.

Wait until Mcgons mechanic gets well or get the Golden Pages out. Remember, you have the option of having the work done in a Mitsi dealership, would be interesting to compare cost....

Post up on Irish Mitsi Owners site looking for a mechanic in Dublin that works on Mitsi's. Several other models are fitted with similar tappets that would need changing also.
