Exact same price as powerbulbs.com on the Philips HB3/HB4 range, at least its some competition though.

Changed my eight front bulbs last week to the bluevision - fitted two sets of HB3 to both dims and heads as per CJ's advice. Noticed a considerable improvement and they look way better.

yeah they are better than any poxy standard ones that you'd pick up in a motor factors, i paid £11.99, which works out at about €17, and i paid €8 in my local motor factors per light about 8 months ago!

Very easy (with the aid of a stanley) to fit the HB3 (headlight) bulbs into the dims connection. The Philips premium on powerbulbs are the same price as the blue vision and are meant to be stronger.

Good difference especially on dims - good service from powerbulbs too.

I wonder should we start approaching companies like this for a club discount, if you were open to that CJ

Yeah, its a good idea, I'll send a mail or two and see what comes back. My fear is that we won't be able to generate enough sales to justify an ongoing discount but its worth looking into nonetheless. The other issue is how do you prove that you're part of the community, answers on a post(card) please...

maybe do something similar to the uk site, give people a 20 post limit or something and then basically you or whoever decides whether or not they should be given a full membership and then just issue a membership number.

When I ordered my bulbs from powerbulbs recently - the sales guy was very interested to know that I had got his contact through this site. I'd say they would be fairly open to a discount scheme.

BTW - There are a number of other suppliers inc Mike in Camskill / Ifty in Modified Metal who have told me that they would set up discounts for the FTO Ireland club.

there are loads of discounts on the uk forums, might not be a bad idea to go on and pick out some that would be used regular over here by us.

oh yeah splitrims (once up and running properly) will be providing a club discount of course!
